The Evil Eye       In India, the evil eye or "Nazar" is a dominant belief. It is
believed that an evil eye stare can bring bad luck. It is believed
to be a curse imposed on people through jealousy and envy on
the part of certain individuals who are jealous of the excellent
fortune that others had. Many Hindu gods, including Krishna
and Shiva, have been also adorned with the symbol of the evil
eye.
Whether it is believable or not, that is a matter of personal
taste. But the great fear associated with "that malicious look"
certainly arouses a great deal of curiosity. So here are the most
practiced Indian exercise to ward off the negative effects of the
evil eye -
