Luxury of the month - September The coupe-like BMW X6 will be exactly up your alley if the boxy BMW X5 isn't flamboyant enough for you. Although it is not a sports sedan, it is a fantastic luxury SUV thanks to its sloping roofline and discreet ducktail rear end. BMW X6's newer models have shorter and wider proportions, as well as longer wheelbase and overall length. Additionally, the outside of the new X6 has been sharpened, and it now features an illuminated grille for the first time. Inside, all of the most recent models from the brand have essentially the same style. For this fantastic offering from BMW, prices begin at 1.05 Cr.
The 3.0 litre, in-line, six-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine from BMW powers the X6 xDrive40i. It produces 340 horsepower and is paired with an 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission, which uses BMW's electronically controlled xDrive all-wheel-drive system to distribute power to all four wheels. The X6 manoeuvres through traffic easily despite its size. Particularly smooth running 40i engine makes it a joy on the road. The ZF 8-speed transmission is both silky smooth and incredibly quick, and it responds positively when you press the pedal. The BMW even accelerates well when you put your foot down, winding up the powerband with all the vigour of a normally aspirated engine, and pushing it all the way to the redline feels like a true treat
