All I Want From: In a Perfect World (2013) The melancholy lyrics juxtapositioned with a relatively sunny melody make for a unique listen that's undoubtedly going to get stuck in your head. Truly beautiful song with the soft flowing of the words from the carefully constructed verses will leave you stunned and emotional throughout the process. The overall tone might be sad or tedious, but it served its purpose, the melody will hit your heart in a way you never expected.
When you listen to their album, you will never really consider them as "rock" as you would expect them to be simply because they lean more in the folk/alternative scene. Drums are not too loud, melodies are more mellow and the vocals are not too harsh - that's their characteristic! An Irish rock band from Dublin, started their career under the name 21 Demands, but later in 2012, they changed their name to Kodaline. Creating music that truly speaks to the soul. It's a rock band with folk, indie, and alternative influences.
