Luxury Inside The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT’s beautiful bodywork will undoubtedly catch your eye, but it’s more than just a pretty face. The GT is a high-performance sports automobile with a low and wide profile. This is Mercedes’ front-engine response to Porsche’s rear- engine 911. At a price of 2.66 crores ex-showroom this is definitely a car that will be a jewel in a collection worth 50 crores. The hand-built engine in every Mercedes-AMG GT has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, but the output level varies depending on the model you choose. The base GT, which comes standard with adaptive dampers and a limited- slip rear differential, delivers 523 horsepower. The new Black Series takes over as the ultimate GT coupe, effectively being a street-legal race car. It boasts a flat- plane-crank version of AMG’s twin-turbo V-8 that produces 720 horsepower, as well as more lightweight materials and a slew of track-focused tweaks.
