The last engine to power the Polo, which has had more than 5 engine options over the course of its cycle, was the BS6- compliant, 1.0-liter TSI with three cylinders and a turbocharger. The engine is capable of producing 109 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 175 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. Only the GT with a six-speed automatic is an option. 
 The Polo has distinguished out from the crowd with its unique ride and handling combination ever since it was first introduced. It's excellent that this characteristic hasn't changed over time. Although it has a smooth ride at low speeds, you are constantly aware of what the tyres are dragging along. Surprisingly, even the poorly constructed road joints or potholes are efficiently absorbed without bothering the inner occupants.
Since ISRO launched the Mangalyan in 2013, the Polo's cabin hasn't seen any significant changes. Only black, minimalism, and utility over form are present. There are no gimmicky gimmicks or frills to divert your attention from what is most crucial—driving. During the final year of manufacture, you received seat covers in the plaid fashion. Even almost a decade later, the clean layout is appealing, and its sturdy construction adds to its allure. 
 This top-of-the-line Polo, which is available in India, boasts a long list of features. Auto air conditioning, one-touch operation for all four windows, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, a rear parking sensor, dual front airbags, ABS, and connectivity options via Volkswagen Connect are all included. We sincerely miss this vehicle and aspire for Volkswagen to bring the Polo back in a new guise, just as they did with the Virtus when the Vento was replaced.
